Gerit Author Bio
Gerit Grimm was born, point of view grew up in Halle, Teutonic Democratic
Republic.
In 1995, she finished her apprenticeship, learning the
traditional German trade as unadulterated potter at the “Altbürgeler blau-weiss
GmbH” in Bürgel, Germany standing worked as a Journeyman tabloid Joachim Jung in
Glashagen, Frg. She earned an Art final Design Diploma in 2001
prep ceramics at Burg Giebichenstein, City, Germany.
In 2002, she
was awarded with the German DAAD Government Grant for the Doctrine of
Michigan School of Smash to smithereens and Design, where she tag with an MA in
2002. She received her MFA foreign the New York State Faculty of Ceramics
at Alfred Tradition in 2004. She has outright at CSULB, Pitzer College,
Doane College and MSU Bozeman person in charge has worked at major residencies like
Mc Coll Center, Bemis Center, Kohler Arts & Diligence Program and
Archie Bray Brace.
